 Consumer:-

A person who purchases goods and services for personal use.

A consumer is a person who buys or purchase goods and services for some value that called price. 

Consumer can have the essential and important right like,

 1. Right to be protected:- consumer have a right to protect against the marketing of goods and services which are hazardous to the life and property of the consumer.

2. Right to be informed:- Consumer should know about the quality , quantity , purity , standard , manufacturing date etc.

3. Right to be assured:- Assured to access to variety of goods at competitive prices.

4. Right to be heard:- That the consumer will receive due consideration at appropriate forum.

5. Right to seek redresser:- Against the unfair trade exploitation of consumers.

6. Right to consumer education:- Unless the consumer are aware of their rights and the remedies protection of their interest is difficult.

Consumer have a right to reject or complain on the goods.

  Complaint means any allegation in writing

Made by a complaint in regard to one of the following that:

 ✓ That the goods mentioned in the complaint suffer from one or more defects.

✓ That the service mentioned in the complaint suffer from the deficiencies.

The consumer have to complain on 

1. District forum

2. State government or union territory

3. National commission
